So far so good! It's my birthday tomorrow and my coworkers brought sweets and flowers to work today. Here's to my last year in my 20s

I went to Target today with my almost 3 year old. He decided today was the day the terrible 2's would rear their ugly head. Then I came home and watched Minions (he idolizes those yellow dudes) with him.

    Happy Birthday for tomorrow!

Today has barely started for me but so far it's been rushed. Looking forward to a quiet day, perusing colour schemes for our new house and playing with the kidlets...

Eugh. Terrible Twos. My son was an angel until about a week before he turned three. This year has been the most trying year yet. He's just turned four and seems to have turned a corner.

Deep breathes, it does get easier. Especially easier at the end of the day when he's in bed and you get to have a glass of wine in peace and quiet

Oh you're well schooled in the Threenager years then! I have an almost-1 year old daughter as well and already I can tell she's going to be far more work than her brother

Bedtime is the greatest. When you can look at them, not moving, not talking and truly appreciate how awesome they are. Especially when they're asleep

boring i guess, which is what im used to but since it's actually my birthday it stings a bit more
my family hasn't really done anything (they've been mostly nice at least) and i dont have irl friends to hang with anymore since i've moved so much. auhg
i have some nice online pals who have made it a bit more cheerful at least but looks like ill be spending my 21st in my room drinking wine and playing Oblivion alone?
idk. maybe i should take this as a bad omen for the future?? hm. or i guess im still feeling those high expectations for birthdays from when i was younger, lmao

overall: boring, but quiet at least i guess

Is that what they call it? Threenager? haha! I keep telling my husband it's going to only be a matter of time before he'll be fighting off the boys.

Oh gosh, yes. My kids are the cutest when sleeping. They look like dolls (I'm just a little biased).

My son has soooooo much energy. He's built like a little football player and we really want to put him in sports when he's older.
