People often pay for followers as a means of advertising.
Honestly. I thought girls were the ones that wanted all the attention on Facebook and what not. But dude, if you have to pay people to follow you or like your status to feel better about yourself, pathetic.
Hate me all you want, but it's the truth.

That I understand if it's for a product of some type. But if it's just to feel good about yourself it's a different story.
When my wife posts a picture she gets more than 100 likes within 2 hours. When I post a picture I get 7 likes over the space of about 5 days. I think girls just like the reassurance factor of 'likes' on facebook . I personally don't see it. I literally only 'like' things like people announcing they are having a baby, getting married or something genuinely interesting.
I sometimes wonder why girls who are married or have boyfriends still coat their faces with make-up even though they have nobody to impress. (Even though I find a lot of make up to look awful anyway). Girls are more cryptic than anything else on this planet
Ha you should see how attention seeking some of my fb friends are. And lol I only like when I see something funny

Only reason I have a Facebook is because I live in a different state every year. And have a different hockey team every year so it helps me keep in touch with everybody. But other than that it's just annoying.
I like getting likes. I would never pay for them and 96% of my posts or pictures are of my daughter. I use FB to stay in touch with friends and family out of state, it's nice hearing my friends praise my baby, when I posted a video of her walking, crawling, etc.
OOOOAAARRGGHH!!
