Lightbulb What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,
So some people have been complaining when I trade and give them money for stuff, that I'm not sending it via gift option through payapal. Now when I send money, it automatically checks off the personal/gift options. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to send gift through paypal? +thanks

If gift option isn't available for you, send an extra 5-10% of the purchase to cover the fees, that way people won't be mad

    https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees

So, I googled the question. And it seems that if the seller lives in U.S and sends gift option to another U.S person, neither has to pay fee. But if a U.S. person sends to someone outside of country, then international person pays fee. So, it's decided on where you live?

My customers never have this issue with me. It just sounded right. It doesn't hurt to give a couple extra cents.

Also if the person sends via gift option that means they can't do a charge back. Scammers like to pay without gift option, get the goods, then do a charge back. If the seller can't provide a legit receipt or shipping info (which you can't have either of when selling neocrap) then the scammer gets whatever he bought from you plus his money back.

Not true. They can chargeback any transaction on paypal by disputing it as "Unauthorized"
