There was a board on the BDchat yesterday about it. They were wondering if it was one of her kids because not everything expensive was taken and they froze her daughters account as well. So nobody knows if it was her kids or a hacker. I was thinking about making a board on here but I see someone got one up. But def whoever did it, whether you knew her situation or not, if they unice her, give it back.

Her daughter had access to her account but I doubt that was it. About a month after she passed her account was logged into briefly by her daughter but since then it has stayed untouched. I was actually dreading this because frankly it seemed pretty inevitable. Such a shame though.

Yeah, doubt it was because she probably would have posted on a board or something. But a few people sent in tickets saying to freeze for protection and TNT froze it within 5 minutes of the ticket being sent. So it's good they understood, but what everybody was questioning was that not everything worth a lot was stolen. They said her TTear got stolen (her favorite thing in the gallery) but they said only a few things were taken.

TNT has treated it as a memorial of sorts too. They were well aware that she passed as well as that her daughter was on her account. This would typically be a freezable offense but it was let slide given the circumstances.

Does any one know what happened to mao_mau's accounts? I do know her main was frozen but tnt uniced it, she passed as well and im sure some one got to her sides.

Why does it matter , if u hack anyone its immoral. How do you know the list of accounts you hack is not entirely made up of dead people?

You can't jump on your high horse just because someone hacked dead people unintentionally when you cant even tell me for sure if you have done the same thing.

Its well known to people who keep upto date with this shit , I do not know of any big time neopets players or who has and who had not past away. I do not care if it makes me look like a prick to have a unpopular view. Just because its unpopular does not make it false.

In page 1 of this thread it was called "grave robbing" , in page two its fine to "grave rob" anyone if there death is not publicized? Call me a prick if it makes you sleep better but you have double standards.

I never said it was justified to take the belongings of an account of a dead owner. But if you have no way of knowing better so be it. If you would do me the favor of going back and rereading I made it clear that I think this was a misunderstanding and the person who took the belongings likely did not know the details of the owner. That being said it was cruel, malicious, and greedy if the person did know. Please so not waste my time with moronic accusations of "double standards" because if any other incident comparable to this was known or made public, I would react the exact same way.
