Premium Proxy service or VPN so confused :( offering +rep for help!

Hey everyone,

It has been recommended to me that I start using proxies. My issue with them was that if someone else used the same one and got frozen, I would be taking a trip to iceland myself. Thus came the suggestion of a VPN since they allgedly give private proxies/ip addresses alleviating the fear of being chain iced.

I was curious what services you guys use and how you set them up. Like if I bought hotspot shield premium will I in fact get multiple PRIVATE proxies as I read on another site? Are they fast?

Basically my real issue is that I am afraid to log into my main from my home ip addres because I stupidly (i didnt know better until now) logged into my ab accounts and stuff and main from my home ip address. They were all chained...twice, and now I fear that my ip is flagged or something and if I am going to pay good money for an account I do not wish to have it all go to waste.

Please help me out-I do need my hand held through all this certainly out of my element when dealing with computers

Hotspot shield sucks. Look into ProXpn. I use the paid version (starts at $9.95 per month) as well as a corporate VPN that I have access to. I log into several hundred accounts a month on a constant basis though. If you're not going to be logging into that many accounts, you're likely going to be fine using the free version of ProXpn. The only draw back to that is it provides access to only one of their servers and you will always have an IP from that city. (US Based) I also use a proxy, while inside of my VPN's as a double layer of protection. I do that when logging into any account that is not my personal main account.

Cost me $12 for one month or if you are going to be using proxies for a long time try their other bundles which are significantly cheaper in the long run.

I agree with Joe. I pay for the Hide My Ass VPN and its really easy to use.

Hm then please help me understand this:
Will this HMA thing give me user specific proxies that nobody else will be using, like i said i fear the chain =/ And how many proxies do you get? If i wanted to run say 4 accounts or something are there enough? And all are solely for my use or are others accessing them too?
