Theres nothing we can do.
It was actually fraud, he used stolen credit cards to buy from us.
Its not paypal the one chargebacking, its the bank, and the bank has the final answer. So yeah, we lost the battle.
You can try and write something on the dispute, you might be lucky, but chances are low.
So now, mods, please SHARE his IP so we can be careful on that guy.
It was fraud, its not as small as a simple chargeback. It was bigger, WAY bigger.
I think the total damage to clraik was $2000+
Now just be careful he never gets back again.
Now for these people worried by paypal:
Paypal can NOT withdraw money from your bank, or charge your credit card without your authorization. They can ONLY take the money you ALREADY have in paypal. Its up to you if you want to solve your negative balance or not. I suggest you to.
However, they will e-mail you very often about your negative balance. Other than that, they will NOT do anything against you.
I've heard they can mail you (RL Mail), but I think thats only if you live at USA. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure off it.
Thats it from me.
I love you, Manuel.
No, we are not sharing his IP. We are not getting in trouble so you guys can go rogue on some random ass proxy he used.
You lost your money, nothing we can do. Sorry.
Plus, sharing his IP does help you "be careful on that guy". We have his IPs. If he comes back, we will hopefully know. Sharing the IP will cause no good. and will not help in any way, especially since I doubt it's his real IP.
I remember ages ago I was once down by like
Google Checkout is the one who will withdraw from your bank with no warning.
You can talk to Joe, he's going to say no, because he can get in big trouble for releasing personal info such as an IP address.
If you own a website, use WU for big transactions. I'm sorry, but there's not much I can tell you do to.
Fucking shit. No way I'm paying off $350 to PP. But ugh post mails will be annoying then.
Alright I'll talk with Joe then.
And as far as I know, you can not get in trouble for releasing a scammer's IP. And if we considerate that what they did was legally punishable... lol
