In particular, the females of many species of mosquitoes are blood-sucking pests and dangerous vectors of diseases, whereas members of the similar-looking Chironomidae and Tipulidae are not. Even many species of mosquitoes are not bloodsuckers, and many of those that do suck blood do not transmit disease. Also, in the bloodsucking species, only the females suck blood. via (you need an account to see links)

Yes but they do not "suck" it , as the blood pumps around your body they take small amounts in there is no "sucking" action.

Also your calculation is off ,A human dies after loosing 2.24 liters liters of blood. on an average bite a human looses 5 micro-liters of blood , Putting those two together, we would need around 11,5 million mosquito bites for a person to die because of blood loss. And even more to "drain him" witch is impossible.

Now lets take into account a human has 16 square feet of skin (average) thats 2304 square inches. If the swollen area from a mosquito bite at 0.5 square inchesthat gives us enough real estate for 4608 bites.

Why does that matter? Swollen skin should be harder for the mosquito to bite and harder to feed upon. The swelling should reduce the efficiency of further bites.

Even if we're off by several orders of magnitude the requisite 11.5 million bites just can't happen. The body should be able to replenish the blood supply faster than the mosquitoes can diminish it.

I am not nitpicking , I am saying its wrong. Its impossible and could not happen.

You fact is not a fact. Facts cannot be disputed or nitpicked. This is the very definition of a fact and even if they did suck blood your calculations still miles off.

I don't get how you're supposedly so smart but you used the wrong "which" in your previous post

Plus it's not like he calculated these things himself. He's finding the random facts online.
