How do I safely transfer a UC to a shell?

I just traded a pet with someone, but I think my account will be frozen soon. I want to safely transfer my UC (and maybe my neopoints) to a shell account soon. I do have 3 shells to use, and I think I'll use all of them to transfer this stuff. I'm new with proxies and securing, so a walkthrough would be great. Thanks!

Just transfer normally... always use proxies.

Thats pretty much the only way... unless you want to risk it in the pound and be one of those people who says they caught the uc in the pound

Risk it in the pound if you want to keep it, make sure you use joes aaer though as you don't want to lose it. Transfers = ban.

I've actually heard several times that it's safer to transfer rather than pound-adopt.
