Can you say overcrowding? Food shortage? There would be a war anyway, for resources.
There is always something that "Nature" uses to control population.
Sometimes, it is man's own greed, which is what causes wars.
None of the so-called religious wars (as we know them) were actually for religious causes, IMHO.

Anyway, I bet this isn't where Joe wanted this discussion to go... because I could fill pages and pages of religious stuff...

Also, I can't believe what you just wrote. I'm not saying that the world isn't overcrowded but is that a reason that justifies mass murder? Would it be okay to kill you and your entire family because your city is becoming overpopulated? OF COURSE NOT, that would be barbaric.
