Does it also paw at it at all? If so it could be a pain issue.

Either the cat got some type of injury to the eye or it's some type of cornea disease.

In any case either way you ought to go get the cat checked out at the vet.
Could be something as simple as getting a antibiotic or something serious.
ive never noticed her squinting really.
nor does she paw at it.

but thanks for your help! <3

Sounds like it's nothing serious then.

Still should be treated though and get some antibiotics for the eye.

I'm going to go ahead and say she probably has a blocked tear duct or a slight infection.

    I'd call her vet.
I love other Jess even tho I log in like twice a year

Tips from me (from my experience): Look at its poop. If it is normal, like its kinda solid and not fluid, he/she is good. A cat is in good condition to resist bacterial infection(or attack) if it is in good condition. It will make through it.

Most likely just a blockage in the nasolacrimal system or irritation to the tear duct, or lacrimal gland. If the conjunctiva are red and inflammed it may just be a case of conjunctivitis, but if its just watery and the fluid is clear (and not green or pussy etc) then it shouldn't be too serious. Keep an eye on it and if it doesnt clear in the next 2-4 days id recommend a vet consult if you are worried. (Im a qualified Vet Technician)
The overproduction of tears is generally a natural reflex to remove irritation or a blockage of some sort.
