    Tumblr Account passwords..?

Does anyone here know how to get tumblr passwords?
There are a a few blog URLs that I want that are inactive, so I'm just curious!

I'd be willing to pay for a program or someone to get them for me (:

    I don't think you can, I was looking into the same thing >;
Celebritys/companies obtain urls by emailing (you need an account to see links), so you could try that (unlikely).
Side note, if anyone can do this let us know

@(you need an account to see links) I emailed them earlier and the few I want they won't release or anything. That's when I decided someone here HAS to be able too. People on this site can do anything.

This is a guide for twitter, but works for tumblr and other sites.

    1) Find the word you want. For example: Clraik

So the URL you want is: Clraik.tumblr.com

    2) Find a country (Europe, UK, etc) which allows for trademark of a word, in this case "Clraik"

    3) Go through the very small legal mumbo jumbo and acquire proof of ownership.

    4) Contact (you need an account to see links) or (you need an account to see links) and file a complaint about the word you own is currently inactive, and ask if there is anything they can do.

    5) You will be asked for proof of ownership as well as be forwarded forms to prove that you aren't filing a false complaint.

    6) Enjoy your 20-150$ URL. (Estimate) I did this last year for a very "popular word" at the time with no issues.

This is basic knowledge, and can work for sites such as YouTube etc just don't go overboard!

----This is a non-blackhat method of getting urls.

I did this with a 2 letter URL last year and it worked like a charm.

You could also try looking for unregs, a lot of the good URLs have last posted like, 4-5 years ago.

This isn't hacking. It's simply filing a dcma form out.
