a question for old neopets players....

i recently saw on another site a story about Jasmine and some guy named Russell.

they were saying that that's where she got Majal from, and most of her neopoints and items, way back when.

if this is true, can anyone elaborate? who was Russell?

I may be way off the mark here but I was always under the impression that they were irl friends, or in a relationship or related or something. Majal was on the account psxfaq before it was on Featherally, and that was Russell's account. That's about all I know since I never paid much attention!

If we are on the topic of Neopets history already...
    Who was Munster Poo?
    Were there item generators?
Sorry to derail if I'm doing that.
    And what is Majal anyways?

As far as I know, they were in a relationship irl and Majal was a gift.
I dunno about her NPs/items though.

Majal is 'Majal_kita', a BD pet owned by featheralley .
Munsterpoo is/was a very wealthy player, he's currently frozen but someone here is trying to fix that .
Item/NP generation was possible last year; I'm not sure how items were done, but NP was done through exploiting the Habitarium, and they actually turned out pretty safe--I ended up selling them all and only one person was frozen .

Before people get the story wrong..

Munsterpoo was part of a guild that collected R99's a loooong time ago for Jhudora/Illusen quests. At first people thought it would be a waste of NP. In the end, munsterpoo did the quests mostly himself and he made hundreds of millions each time he completed the quests. Take note that back when he did them, there were many many active rich users who would buy these off of him. Now a lot of people are trying to do this (actually since 2008) but they aren't as successful.

Ya because there were only around 500 or less R99's when Brian was doing it with his friends, compared to today (over 9000?).

    I see.
But it's still impressive to own 500 r99s back then
