Logan's (Updated) Guide to Semi-Legit Restocking

Alright, I know... there are plenty of ABers (such as Joe's) that work wonders in getting fast buy times and with little to no effort. However... Some people prefer to play the game more legitimately (such as myself) and because of this I have decided to create this guide that will teach you how to:

Step 1a: Preparing Your Browser

Now, in order to prepare you will need a few things...

Well, the process is about the same. You're going to need...

Step 1b. Grabbing Scripts

Next, you're going to need to grab some scripts. Following are a couple of attached scripts that I have fixed to work with Chrome.

Go ahead and download those and open the zip file and install them. If you are using Chrome, you may need to open the files up in your favorite text editor and then create a new userscript in Tampermonkey and paste the code into the new script. I haven't tested how to add scripts in Firefox, but you should be able to drag and drop the script onto the browser otherwise follow the same instruction for Chrome but replacing Tampermonkey with Greasemonkey.

Step 2: Restocking

You will notice slower buy times. If you are a hardcore ABer, this may not be right for you!

Alright, so you have the scripts and your browser ready. It's time to restock!

Your first step is going to be to get a list for your desired shop. I chose Spooky Foods as an example.

When you open up the page, you will see this (click to expand)

On the right hand side of your page you will see a new box menu. This is where you input the items that you WANT TO SEE. All items NOT in this list will be hidden. This makes it easy because you can use your old/current lists.



Enter your items and press the "Save Settings" button. This will refresh the page.

Step 3: Results

Now, the final end results of this guide is that:

- Your page should auto-refresh every ~4 seconds or so,
- Only show items that you want to buy and hide all the others, and
- Haggle for you automatically when you click the item, and if using Firefox, will automatically solve the OCR/Captcha. (haven't gotten it working in Chrome.)
