    Ask me anything about Accounting

    Hey guys,

so I'll be getting my CPA soon and this thread took off pretty well on another forum i actively visit. You'd be surprised how many people have tax related questions. I can also answer more in-depth questions if you're in an accounting course or major (don't know about all universities, but mines requires nearly every major to take microecon, macroecon and financial accounting, all of which i can help with).

I can also probably help with Math and English subject areas :x I suck at science and history though :L

(To the mods, I wasn't sure if making a thread like this was allowed, if it isn't or should be moved, please let me know!)

This thread probably won't get much attention, but to any questions, go!

If it's dark outside, what color is the sky?

I'll be needing some help when I start back school in a month or 2

Urghh. I hate and suck at science. Though this is a bit off topic, I'm pretty sure the sky is transparent in nature. When it is dark, the sky is in theory pitch black, because the receptors in our eyes can not pick up any color. During the day, the sky is blue something to do with the scattering of the air particles. Other then that, I don't remember much about what effects perception of color in the sky other than how light affects the eyes.

That's pretty much exactly the answer I was looking for.

I am taking auditing and tax next semester, business law I have taken and will be taking blaw two next semester. Auditing I'm not quite experienced yet with but I have a fairly strong grasp about taxes, though the only thing I haven't taken the time learning was the run down of everything about tax forms. Taxation laws and applications I am stronger at. I have taken all the courses below these courses as well, intermediate accounting, AIS, etc. etc.

Yep. My brother is an economics major and I'm more in tune with economics than 90% of the econ majors at Rutgers U., which is actually pretty well known for our econ program. While I am not majoring or minoring in econ, with the exception of statistical based formulas (IE econometrics), I have a very strong comprehension concerning anything related to economics.
