Yeah I literally only know of the Higgs Boson particle from Big Bang Theory, but if it is a big scientific discovery then I'm glad they may have found it, especially if it can be put to good use. xD
Where did religion come into this? This is not a debate about religion. Not sure if you brought it up when you read the words "God Particle" but I will say where that title came from nonetheless. "God Particle" was used by Dr. Leon Lederman who wrote a science book called The God Particle: If the Universe is the Answer, What is the Question? describing particle physics and Higgs Boson and how it relates to particle physics. That is it, he simply used another title for the Higgs Boson. That name of "God Particle" is merely a media term that scientists do not actually like, it is not meant to pry into religion.

I think they said they need to do some more research and make sure they have a sigma 5 probability.. or something like that, that they have found it. Which mean there is like... literally NO possible way it could be an error.
They are about 99% sure they have found it now, they just want to do a lil more research.
After this I think they said they wanna do a little more studying figure out more of it's physical properties, and go from there.
Pretty interesting stuff!
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
interesting read
Sorry just responded to others about the religion part.
I can't wait until more study is done on the bases of movement. I want to see transportation.
lol I still do not understand what the "God Particle" is?
