    Split buying selling trades threads

My suggestion to the site would be to have the trades section split into buying and selling so buyers can go to sellers forum and vice versa to do business instead of sorting through who is doing what.

Although I like this idea, I feel a simple solution would just be to tag the topic title starting with [B] or [Buying]/[S] or [Selling] and such.

Any other thoughts on this idea?

I like having them all together, it opens up a lot more options with less effort. plus people title their boards with what they intend to do anyway, so i say leave it.

I also think it's easier for someone to just see everything on one board instead of having to go to two. Also, the user may just intend on selling something, but ends up seeing something being sold by someone else that they like.

I prefer the combination of both in one thread. Makes it less cluttered and you don't have to keep up with 2 threads.

Maybe add the "Buying", "Selling" and "Buying/Selling" as a default prefix so people can easily catch whats going on the thread

But yeah, do not separate them on different sections... That wouldnt smart!

^ This. People tend to make less buying threads than selling threads anyhow... but separating them like suggested would just cause people to be bumping multiple threads unnecessarily.

Maybe add an thread tag like people already use, but make it involuntary. Like [BUYING] and [SELLING] with an option to view only buying and selling threads for the section.

I like the idea of thread prefix. This would make it a whole lot easier to distinguish between buying and selling thread. Also, even a [BUYING/SELLING] thread prefix.

Buying section it can look something like this :
    uc's
    neopoints
    est's

    Selling
    uc's for sale *New*
    neopoints
    ests
services . birthday cracking & pin cracking yada yada
