    Mobile cheating :)

    Was chatting to joe last night thorwing some ideas around and one of them that come up was a mobile bot , ie one you can have on blackberry/android that performs dailys or trains ur pet and sends u push notifications.

    You may be thinking what about iphone apps? But these cost to much to make , you need a mac for one thing and a developer account (100$) for another + I am unsure if they would even accept such programs. Although of course there is always cydia and jailbroken phones so maybe we can look into that but personally I have not programed for ios before.

    That being said , blackberry and android use very similar apis (there both in java) so what do you guys think , usefull , useless? How many of you are jailbroken here?

    Not jailbroken and I have an iPhone but I also have a friend with a developer account who was accepted for an IOS internship this summer and is currently developing apps. If you like, write up a little overview of what you're wanting to do and I'll pass it along. I'm sure he'd be game for trying it

    Well, either way I have an android tablet, and a iPhone.

    You can program without a developers account, I believe? You just can't submit programs, but if we are jailbroken that does not matter.

    But I think this would be very nice!

    Plus, I like Java

    I have an iPhone, iPad, Mac and developer account. Tho, you do not need a developer acct to make apps, only of you want to publish them. I doubt apple would accept an app like that anyways due to their strict criteria. BUT it would be great for jail broken devices.
    I've dabled a bit in iOS development and it isn't that hard to learn.
    I do like this idea a lot tho because I use my phone all the time. It would be nice to be more productive on neo from my phone ^^;

    Well, yeah But I mean the language is Cocoa Touch, which is derived from Cocoa, I think.

    Someone remind me to update my Xcode since I got Lion, please?

    Later though, going to sleep. ZZzzz

    I bought Snow Leopard and Lion just so I could use Xcode.

    Now I have 2 months to do something and I have no idea what to do.
