This is not hilarious, I wish those bullies could be tied to a tree and picked on one day.
Maybe even throw eggs and stuff at them. How would those kids like it if they were insulted?
I have had similar and worse experiences than this bus monitor.
Once I was attacked by half of my class and they made me bleed and cry, I never did anything to them and I don't see why they decided to physically bully me. This bus monitor may have just been assaulted by words but STILL! I still consider this bullying! Those kids were so heartless, that bus monitor deserved respect instead of this BS. If I was on that bus I would of beat the heck out of the kids who picked on her, since those kids are not well disciplined. They need to be disciplined.

Well, in my own personal opinion, words can hurt a lot more than physical pain. Being bullied physically is extremely bad, but wounds and broken bones cane heal. Telling an elderly lady that she's a 'fat'ass and that she doesn't have a family because they all killed themselves? That would take a harsh blow to my heart more than any stick or stone ever could.

I was put in a semi-similar situation, except it wasn't through a school or anything super official. I was 17 and doing some volunteer PT work at the YMCA I used to work at (Basically tell the kids to run and what exercises benefit what parts of the body, and supervise them so they don't get hurt). When I was leaving, some 15 year old gym rat started making fun of one of the kids I was instructing (this was outside). I grabbed the kid by the waist with both hands and lifted him a foot in the air and pull him close, told him to fuck off.
Bully's are stupid. I used to get picked on, and it wasn't even because I wasn't big or popular. I was just too nice to do anything back as a kid (I also don't recommend doing what I did, almost got fired from a sweet summer job).

Shes getting a ton of money from this.
I honestly think her getting $424,000 is extremely ridiculous, the original goal for the fundraiser is 5k which I believe is still a lot for that.
Theres been many other bullying cases and I don't recall them getting 400k+.
I'm not saying what those kids did is ok, because its obviously not and they get whatever punishment goes their way.
But, hell I'd be tormented for 10 minutes for $424,000.
