Netflix Fullscreen Problems (need help ASAP)

Ok so I have this client who is about to go crazy because Netflix is giving her so many problems.
We have literally tried EVERYTHING to get it fixed and I'm completely stumped.

Here's the problem: when watching a movie, you click the "full screen" button but nothing happens. The computer/browser THINKS it's in full screen mode, but it isn't. Full screen mode works perfectly on her desktop, but the laptop proves problematic.

Solutions we've tried: Uninstalling/Reinstalling Silverlight, Changing Permissions in Silverlight, altering screen resolution, changing sleep/hibernation settings

I'm going out to her house in a few hours to look into it. If all else fails I am just going to install the Netflix plugin thing on Windows Media Player and see if that works.

(HP Laptop, BRAND NEW, Running Windows 7)

    Any suggestions are super helpful!

try all the browsers and check browser settings? try mozilla, chrome, safari and IE.

also, maybe try to uninstall mozilla as a whole and then re-dl the newest version of it, then re-dl silverlight etc. that might do the trick!
