Apparently the PS4 will be released sometime around Christmas of 2013, but Sony went too far. They are not only not having backwards compatibility, but they are also putting in an anti-used game lock, so that you can't borrow your friends' games to play! You can't even circumvent this system because every game MUST be registered to the Playstation Network otherwise it just won't play at all. How can that be a good idea when the PSN has already been hacked multiple times? I swear, there is no thought towards the gamers' opinions anymore, just towards how to make more money.
If it's to be released Christmas of next year then there's no telling what it's going to include. Besides the last time it was mentioned it was just a rumor. It's always been about the money though, lol. Why do you think most console games don't patch their old releases or offer dedicated servers? Or leave chunks out of story and make you buy them via DLC? I'm looking at you, EA.
