The Dragon Age series hands down. Also the nancy drew games although they are made for 10year olds I still buy every new game.
Skyrim is amazing and I really wish they would have kept going with console games and not take the online route (sorry, I hate online multiplayer).
I also love Pokemon and Animal Crossing games a lot, even though they are low impact/excitement haha.

Probably Counter Strike, I've had a lot of fun creating maps and playing the game itself (Specifically CS 1.6/CSS).
The Fire Emblem series, Super Metroid, Warcraft III, Super Smash Bros, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy V, and Age of Empires is up there too.
Final Fantasy VII and VIII. Hands down those 2 games.
Mass Effect 2 and 3 (minus the initial crappy ending). That and Odin Sphere on ps2 is simply amazing.
PS1: The Legend of Dragoon or Crash Bandicoot Racing
PS2: Probably God of War I and II
I've never bought newer game consoles and wasn't exactly a real active gamer on the computer either.
I'd say Super Mario 64 as it's the first one I've ever played!
If Fantasy Life had a much longer story, like a pc rpg, it would definitely be my favorite. But I don't really have one.
