Clove oil is the best for toothache if you have any otherwise you'll just have to use painkillers and icepacks.
Any tips on how to deal with the pain?
I have a tooth that has cracked in half, one of my back teeth on the right....
Taking codeine every 4 hours and it's still throbbing. Trying to get into the dentist but have to wait until tomorrow to make an appointment, and then I might have to wait a week or so

I can get some, Im guessing it works as an anaesthetic?
Thanks I've not slept for about 4 days due to the pain. Whiskey has been helping but I don't want a hangover for work tomorrow :/ lol
if you go to my dental office and tell them its an emergency they take you in right away lol
Not in the UK :p you have your own dentist and they don't do emergencies. You have to go to dental hospital for emergency treatments but they would just pull it out and not try to save it like the normal dentist would

Yea, its my regular dental office that takes emergency people, i dont know if all dental offices do it.
I have never seen a dental hospital though
Yeah I'd suggest clove oil too, it's really helpful as it's an anaesthetic and helps to numb the pain. I had a filling that came out and exposed the nerve, so it was constantly painful when breathing in cold air, but I put clove oil on it and it helped the pain go down, as well as co-codamol.
Just don't get it anywhere but the tooth, it burns like hell if you get it on your tongue/cheek haha. xD
And yeah English dentists are terrible for emergencies. You're unlikely to get one, but if you do it'll cost you like 3x as much as a regular appointment lol.
