Personally, I never use shop method. It's been proven to be dangerous.
I do a mixture of trades, auctions and gifting.

I usually send the items to my other accs depending on their value, if they are worth a lot of nps I use the trading post to transfer the items.
If by shop transferring you mean stocking items for 99,999 (or w/e price), it has been safe for me.
I transferred over 250m PURE through shops.
But im transfering pure not items.
