    Ahh lizard <333

It's my first time being in Florida, and I found this little guy clinging to the net outside our pool. The only time I see lizards irl is during a rare visit to the local pet shops, so I was pretty excited considering I love them xD

I wasn't fast enough to catch him though

Don't try too hard to catch them, their tails fall off and it's kinda creepy XD

    Yeah xD
Haha I live in a state bordering Florida and we get them all the time as well...if you're not careful their tails just kinda..fall off, lol.
They do grow back though! And the tails wiggle on the ground. It's kinda gross :3

its a defense mechanism, their tails fall off and have spasms as a way of distracting predators, much like an octopus shooting out ink.
