I'll probably have more success if I change my story, but then if I change the details again, it may result in a permanent freeze.. Hmm... I think the best course of action would be to change my story, revert the email back to the original one, make the password similar the the original one, and PIN it again.

That's exactly what he did. It took 2 of us to get all that stuff out. Took around 2 hours before it got frozen. Luckily we saved everything we took.
