Firefox pissed me off with all them crashes and stuff so I started using Chrome. Chrome uses a lot of memory too for me but I have 8gigs so what the heck.

Are you on 64-bit? If so that why. Firefox doesnt run well on 64-bit. Thats why they made (or should I say still making) mozzilla nightly. Nightly is basically firefox but improved for 64bit.
It even has a cooler icon IMO.
But its still in like beta so they give you a new update like everytime you turn it on. But thats whatever.
