After reading this I've come to the conclusion that being on a diet is awful.

It is awful but good.
No it's not, but it depends on how far you go in to it how heavy it is. Just eating healthy in general and exercising at least 30 minutes a day (be it walking or w/e) makes you healthier a lot already. But all these things are good tips for those who take it very serious! And not just for a diet, b ut also in general for a healthier body.

I have had a fight with weight most my life too. I don't eat until I get really hungry.
