I honestly dont care if your gay/straight coz its none of my business and if you didnt tell me then i wouldnt know

What you do in private with your partner or yourself is your business and no one elses and if anyone has a problem with that then you should be happy knowing that they are so uncomfortable in they own skin that the feel the need to judge you

I disagree. Especially reading through your other posts. But since this is not a debating topic, but someone celebrating a special moment in her life: I'm not going to go in to this any deeper than the first two words of my sentence.

Did you feel obligated to announce to the world that you're gay? I mean, don't get me wrong, but people make it out to be a much bigger deal than it really is.

A lot of gay people actually do feel that pressure. Family often doesn't know, theres social pressure of unacceptance (still, sadly) and many other factors holding people back. So yes, people should feel obligated to tell the whole world something, if it makes them happy.
