Would you get close enough to mace him? Didn't they shoot him a few times before he went down? You'd be screwed with just mace. Hell no I'd be too scared.

Yeah I don't get how it went on for so long that he could eat the guys entire face...or even how the victim didn't partially fight him off.
If someone bit my face I'd do whatever I could to fend them off, and I'm damn sure I wouldn't lost my whole face before I got free....maybe they were both high and he didn't even notice
