apparently there's some text message being sent around that makes iphones to reboot/messages app to crash? my friend sent me it and now i can't open the app
anybody else dealing with this?
my brother sent it to me but it didn't work LOL

So the main way to fix it is to have the number send you another text on top of the message (allowing you to open the iMessage app), and delete the thread.
This is assuming they have the english header on the top of the message thread: iirc if they didn't include the English header you may be boned.

Yeah I know, but maybe it crashes on older models rather than newer ones?
I got an iPhone 6 Plus.
Some phones are not vunerable to it, others are.and maybe the person sent the message missing a part of i.
